he minerals on this page come from either the Klein Spitzkoppe or The Erongo Mountains, south-east of the Brandberg. There are also a few specimens of Jeremejevite from Mile 72.
This section illustrates the amazing diversity of minerals found in these two areas. Black Tourmaline (Schorl), Aquamarine, Smokey Quartz, Topaz and Hylite are relatively common, but the combinations photographed on the right are all rather unique.
We were fortunate to have been among the first to see the rare blue Jeremejevite discovered a few years ago at Mile 72. At the time, we did not know for certain what it was, but realized it wasn't just dark Aquamarine. We have several relatively large Jeremejevite crystals in our stock.
We also have a large selection of Tourmalinated Smokey Quartz, some with Hylite associated.
The Fluorite in this section is all from The Erongo Mountains. These Fluorite specimens are usually green in colour, and often composed of very small cubed crystals.
Please select 'View Specimen' on the right, for larger photographs and a description of the selected mineral.
If you are looking for something which we do not appear to have in stock, please contact us personally, we will do our best to source it for you.
