The crystals on this specimen closely resemble Kutnahorite, but fluoresce a magnifiecent orange under UV light, proving them to be Manganoan Calcite. These crystals occur on a bed of very pale pink Kutnahorite, which is not fluorescent. This is a lovely specimen with the Calcite crystal being well-formed. |
