Most of the larger internal chambers of this cut and polished Ammonite pair, are filled with Dogtooth Calcite crystals. The internal spiral shape is clearly visible. There are still traces of the original shell, on the outside of both halves, which is opalized. Where the shell has been removed, the complex sutures are visible. |
