Malachite and Chrysocolla have formed in layers over a soft matrix. The layering can be clearly seen on the sides of this specimen. The top layer of Malachite has a pearly lustre to it, becoming shiny in areas. There are patches of botryoidal Chrysocolla and Malachite on the underside of this piece. A beautiful specimen. |
